About TEAGUE
Founded in 1926 by design pioneer Walter Dorwin Teague, TEAGUE is the original design consultancy. As proof, our portfolio spans many firsts: the Polaroid camera, the UPS truck, Texaco-branded service stations, the Pringles canister, and the Xbox.
Summary
We may be known for our innovative products, but it’s the dazzling leadership taking place behind the scenes that is the secret to our success. To consistently deliver the kind of targeted, forward-thinking innovations that our clients have come to expect of us, we need exuberant and skilled leaders guiding the way. That’s where you come in.
Responsibilities
- Equal parts coach, diplomat, and entrepreneur, you are a wildly energetic, sensationally organized individual who thrills at the prospect of pushing the field of design to new and exciting places. More specifically, that means owning and driving resource allocation, building strong networks both internally and internally, and heading cross-studio communications and action planning related to resource management and people development. Working closely with Human Resources, the Head of Operations, and Head of Design, you support and leverage each creative individual’s capabilities. An astute and inspiring leader, you not only oversee the team—articulating expectations, prioritizing tasks and promoting performance excellence—you also serve as a liaison to other TEAGUE studios, ensuring that the GDS is not operating in isolation. - You have a track record for developing strong, productive relationships with people at all levels of an organization. Effective, decisive, and authentic, you can work with a broad set of teams: creative direction, project management, account management, business development, and external resourcing, as well as clients and contractors. Finally, you love what you do. You’re passionate about design, thrive on the prospect of working with others in a fast-paced, highly creative environment, love a good challenge, and have outstanding diplomatic skills. If you love operating ahead of the curve, we’d love you to come help us build a better tomorrow.
