Senior C#.Net Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the design and development of websites, web-services, and internal systems. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on software initiatives that will drive business growth and bring our platform to the next level. * Review business requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications, and provide feedback to clarify these documents. * Use project planning and issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira) within an agile development methodology. * Develop software using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, AngularJS, jQuery, Java Script, SQL Server and the .Net platform to design, build and integrate public facing websites and web services. * Create and execute software tests at several levels (unit, integration, etc.) * Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles. * Provide technical support to our internal and external customers. * Work effectively with business leaders and the technology team. * Ensure we meet a high bar for user experience, software performance and quality, and continually raise this bar.

* Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in Computer Science. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the software development domain; preferably within ecommerce, internet or online financial services organizations. * Minimum of 3 years of Agile/Scrum software development experience using Visual Studio, C#, and .Net frameworks to build websites and web services (SOAP or REST). * Minimum of 2 years of database and SQL experience using Microsoft SQL Server; Entity Framework experience is a plus. * Minimum of 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery and Java Script; AngularJS is a plus. * Object oriented design and development skills; experience with design patterns is a plus. * Experience with source code control and issue/defect tracking systems. * Experience designing, building and testing across multiple browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices including desktops, tablets and mobile. * Thorough understanding of source code control and issue/defect tracking systems. * Solid knowledge of internet browsers and website usability. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment. * Experience with Microsoft tools and technologies including Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
