Our Anoka, MN location is seeking a Digital Developer to join our Marketing team. The Digital Developer is responsible for development, maintenance, and implementation of code and databases for websites and applications.
- Ability to work independently and with others in a matrix team environment.
- Organize and manage multiple priorities, maintain a project list, estimate projects, implement approved enhancements, and communicate status.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, test, ensure browser compatibility, and implement website code by using Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.NET.
- Database development, population, and integration to support publishing to database-driven websites.
- Convert existing tools and migrate data to new technologies in support of group-level Digital Marketing systems.
- Streamline technical processes.
- Assess integration opportunities between Digital Asset Management (DAM) and websites including asset galleries, online resources, and product sections.
- Recommend enhancements to architecture, websites, apps, and systems.
- Develop and improve site navigation, web statistics collection, search engine techniques, and link integrity.
- Maintain website content.
- Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions that solve complex problems.
- Modernize consumer profile database to support e-newsletter delivery and insights.
- Assist during project definition and collaborate with project team members to support digital concepts.
- Participate in the ongoing support of developed applications following established procedural guidelines.
- Develop clear, detailed documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field (or significant equivalent experience).
- 3 years minimum web programming experience with ASP.NET/C#, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, SQL, and Stored Procedures (CMS-based experience such as Sitecore or other enterprise CMS platform desired).
- Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and IIS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Visio.
- Experience with Digital Asset Management systems, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, SharePoint, Photoshop, SEO, and responsive design are a plus.
