Software Developer

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer in the ASP.NET field. The candidate will be part of the team, which manages Gartner Event’s customer facing web sites and services

- The ideal candidate will be someone who has 2-4 years of experience with an ASP.NET web development background and has experience building/supporting customer facing websites, web services, databases and other application technologies.

- Bachelor's of Computer Science degree from a four-year college or university. - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience building ASP.NET and C# baed Internet facing enterprise web applications - Strong knowledge of OOP development using Visual Studio in many of the following C#/ASP.NET /MVC/WPF/MSSQL/SOAP/Restful - Understanding of applying Model View/X patterns in the real world - Understanding of security principles MSSQL Database Development skills. - Experience with Entity Framework/LINQ to SQL/ADO or other OR/M - Experience with Source Control - Excellent verbal and documentation communication skills - Knowledge of Search Engines and SEO/Mobile Applications/Forms based applications/Windows Services - Knowledge of web technologies including XML/XSLT/JavaScript/CSS/SASS/LESS/HTML/ /AJAX/JQuery/DOM/AngularJS or other FE technologies
