Leidos is seeking to fill Software Engineer in support of CECOM Software Engineering Center IEWS Directorate, DCGS-A Sustainment Support at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for a variety of engineering applications. Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements. Develop tools and interfaces. Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software. ** These positions require an active DoD Secret Clearance upgradable to a TS/SCI **

- Assessing software problem reports for validity and solutions for DCGS-A baselines; troubleshooting and creating solutions for DCGS-A sustainment baselines; providing software loads on external drives supporting units using DCGS-A Systems. - Providing functional and empirical analysis related to design, development, and implementation of software systems - Participating in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems. - Performing in all phases of software design, development, documentation, and implementation. - Designing and developing with knowledge of advanced networking techniques. - Design and run integration and end-to-end tests to verify performance against requirements - Analyze and interpret test results to characterize component behavior - Participate as a collaborative member of an Agile team - Participate in all aspects of the SCRUM process (planning, collaboration, lessons learned) Skillset: ADA, Adobe Flash, 3d Studio Max, C++,VMWare, Comp Tia, JTT JTT Senior, CGS - Familiar with AMC / CECOM / SEC policies, procedures and workforce - Possess knowledge of and have practical experience developing software for DOD programs subject to the DOD acquisition process

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required with 3 years of experience. - Strong, compliant HTML and CSS JavaScript library familiarity (AngularJS or similar, Express.js, jQuery, etc) - Server-side experience (node.js, is preferred) - Database familiarity - Solid command of HTTP protocol and security measures - Strong understanding of web application UI principals - Proficiency using at least one high-level programming language (Java, C++, C#, etc.). - Proficiency with basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, and JavaScript. - Proficiency with web application technologies, such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc. - Knowledge of software design patterns. - Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies. - Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) - Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Project Forge, Jira) - Proficiency with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, LINUX, etc.). - Proficiency with at least one Relational Database Management System (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.). - Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint). - Must have a current DoD Top Secret Secret Security Clearance. - US Citizenship required. **Preferred Qualifications** - Development on agile teams using Agile Developer practices - Oracle database experience - Linux software experience - SQL experience - Security Plus Certification
