Summary
This individual will be responsible for coding and implementing .Net web sites, web services and custom components in the 3.5 and 4.0 Framework. Additionally, the role will be responsible for creating PhotoShop mocks and HTML templates, and masterpages. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, .Net Framework, SQL, C#, SOAP, XML and XSLT technologies
Responsibilities
* Code and implement web sites, web services and custom components utilizing C# in the .Net 3.5 and 4.0 Framework. * Code and implement SQL stored procedures as required. * Design and configure SQL 2008 databases and tables as required. * Input and create content pages in the Umbraco CMS system for consumer facing web sites. * Create and export web graphics in PhotoShop. * Code and implement API services for integrating 3rd party systems. * Code and implement Credit Card payment gateways. * Create unit tests and implementation plans for sites and projects. * Create Umbraco modules with XSLT and/or .Net User Controls.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience. * 3 or more years of experience with MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008. * Proven experience using Transact SQL, stored procedures. * Proficiency in C# .Net and web site technologies. * Experience with TFS, Visual Studio 2010. * Experience with Javascript and JQuery libraries. * Knowledge of CSS, HTML, HTML5. * Knowledge of designing pages for Cross-Browser functionality. * Knowledge of using PhotoShop to create and export graphics for use in web site development. * Experience with XML, XSLT, and SOAP. * Experience with creating and referencing web services. * Experience with creating custom APIs, class libraries, and custom user controls. * Experience with Umbraco CMS is a plus. * Experience with Credit Card payment gateways and eCommerce is a plus. * Proven ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
