Summary
We are currently seeking a Marketing Director at our Community Support Office located in McLean, Va. The position will be responsible for leading traditional marketing at Sunrise and specifically develop, manage and implement a variety of marketing programs to promote Sunrise's brand and its individual product lines.
Responsibilities
- Leading marketing strategies focused on building brand awareness and driving sales for Sunrise’s portfolios, including senior living products, business development efforts and new business opportunities - Developing the annual marketing plan and budget; analysis of marketing spending and ROI throughout the organization - Serving as a strategic counselor to the Sales and Operations teams, advising on pro-active marketing campaigns, messaging and tactics to support markets and programs in North America and the UK - Collaborating with Online Marketing team to coordinate and lead effective multi-channel marketing campaigns - Advancing customer loyalty marketing programs to grow referrals - Developing strategic partnerships with key influencers (internal and external), platforms and brand partners - Measuring and analyzing the impact of marketing activities to ensure successful outcomes, enact changes, where appropriate, and set future direction - Managing key vendors and agencies, including designers, setting expectations and ensuring effective and timely execution of priorities - Protecting Sunrise’s brand integrity, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of brand standards and messaging - Providing timely and effective communications to community and regional teams throughout Sunrise regarding initiatives that support business goals - Manage a team of marketing professionals who are engaged and deliver consistent, high-quality work
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree, and experience in real estate or hospitality industry preferred - At least 10 years of marketing experience - Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - Experience managing a company’s brand - Strong understanding of general marketing and communications - Accountable for effective communications and active listening, willing to adapt, adjust and be supportive when objectives shift - Strong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment both individually and within a team - Resilient, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism while managing multiple demands - Willingness to do what it takes to complete projects with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing & Communications team members to contribute to all team initiatives
