Summary
Shared Services is part of a significant transformation within HR, shifting how we support our employees and managers in getting work done as well as supporting HR programs and initiatives. Responsibilities
* Provide high quality, consistent HR guidance, support and resolution to managers and employees within region with focus on employee-centric service. Escalates complex and high risk concerns to HR Business Partner or management as necessary. * Partner with HR team, including Centers of Excellence (COE) and subject matter experts to deliver and support integrated solutions to regional teams (ex: compensation programs, performance management, employee engagement survey, etc) * Work with HR Centers of Excellence and HR SMEs to establish and document globally standard HR processes and operating procedures to be used in support of HR delivery * Responds to employee and manager inquiries and provide advice regarding organization’s benefits, policies, procedures and programs * Support hiring managers and recruiters with requisition and offers, helping to ensure appropriate job level, alignment to headcount plans and hiring/compensation guidelines * Responsible for background checks and employee pre-screening activities, working with designated vendors, gathering results and making recommendations with HR Business Partner guidance * Create employee contracts in partnership with legal and other HR staff * Serve as front-line intake for employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, etc. May participate in investigations to address employee relations issues and grievances in partnership with HR Business Partner * Support local training delivery in partnership with global training organization * Employee Offboarding: benefits termination, issuance of separation agreements, and facilitate exit interviews * Provides assistance on responding to unemployment claims * Support team of HR Services Analysts, providing guidance on day to day responsibilities and serving as escalation for employee questions and issues * Help prioritize workload for HR Services Analysts to ensure all transactions are satisfactorily completed within SLA provided by management while always providing excellent customer service **Complexity:** * Works on moderately complex problems and projects. * Engages in situational and/or data analyses requiring the review of multiple factors. **Teamwork, Collaboration and Influence:** * Works independently, seeking advice from management and more senior team members when complex situations are encountered. * Seeks ways to enhance team and work group performance. * Collaborates within and outside area of responsibility. **Impact and Results Focus:** * Delivers quality work on time, proactively addressing and resolving emerging challenges. * Assures work products meet client or end user business needs.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Education and Experience:** * Bachelor's Degree in related field coupled with 4-6 years of HR or related field experience. * Self starter with demonstrated accountability for results * Capability to apply discretion and sound judgment in managing decisions and handling sensitive and confidential information. **Preferred Requirements:** * Judgment, initiative, and tenacity demonstrated in an environment of rapid change. * Ability to collaborate globally across boundaries, disciplines, and cultures, especially in an evolving matrix environment. * Sound knowledge of HR practices * Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in site and business partnership. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. * Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied with cultural sensitivity. * Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills. * Strong process orientation.
