Summary
The Production Coordinator supports the Associate Production Manager (APM) who oversees the management of one or more front end departments for a production. Departments include Story, Script, Editorial and Visual Development.
Responsibilities
* Organize and schedule production meetings. Keeping track of meetings and reschedules in a timely manner. * Answer phone calls including checking messages, rolling calls, keeping phone logs and prioritizing call backs. * Arrange the production reports, call-sheets and distribute to appropriate individuals. * Create trusting and open relationship with productions * Keep supervisor informed by providing accurate and timely information regarding the appropriate matters. * Direct people both internally and externally to the correct department to contact to get the correct information that is needed. * Organize paperwork that is received so that it is easily retrievable. * Attend production meetings and take notes. * Accurate data entry in production tracking software * Maintain organized production files within specific directory structure * Coordinate travel for production. * Manage and complete expense reports. * Order office supplies for the department. * Special projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Must have at least 1-2 years in an animation production environment. * Highly organized, resourceful and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. * Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented department. Must be willing to take and follow directions. * Able to work independently and set appropriate priorities. * Ability to take direction when needed and also take the initative where applicable. * Trustworthy and ability to maintain a high level of discretion. * Bachelor's degree preferred. * Computer and technology literate – familiarity with Mac/PC operating systems, Photoshop,Word, Excel and Gmail.
