Summary
The Relationship Managers here at Return Path are enthusiastic about pairing our customers with solutions that help them generate more revenue through email. We are responsible for retaining and growing the business from our existing accounts. Our goal is to ensure that clients are successful in optimizing their email program and driving revenue from their email program through their use of Return Path tools and services resulting in increased revenue and retention.
Responsibilities
* Assist account team by proactively researching client companies and account data * Send invitations and follow up with clients via for webinar and event registrations * Attend weekly meetings with each Relationship Manager and present: * What RM needs to know industry news, RP publications, RP events, talk through/summarize marketing “need to knows”, success stories * Curate and summarize RP marketing content for Relationship Managers’ and client consumption * Summarize RP products roadmap documents * Support the Relationship Managers in ad hoc account management and client requests * Join strategic client calls, take notes, perform action items from those calls as a path to learning about email program optimization and sales process * Research and compile client company profiles in preparation for client meetings * Perform white space analysis for account planning and opportunity identification * Administrative account management and prospecting tasks such as: entering client data into tools for opportunity identification, add customer domains into competitive intelligence tool, unknown user analysis for list validation opportunities * Program manage applications for new Certification clients * Research prospective contacts in email marketing/operations departments for existing accounts * Pull together prospecting lists, draft and send emails to book client/prospect meetings * Pull data and screenshots of client performance to create, edit, proof powerpoint presentations and proposals * CRM data entry and information management (contact info updates, opportunity updates, etc) * Monthly client outreach content (what’s new) * Generating, formatting and preparing reports based on client specific data
Ideal Candidate
**What You’ve Done** * Study or have strong interest in digital marketing and/or technology * Experience using Excel for data analysis * Previous Customer Service or Sales experience preferred * Creation of powerpoint presentations * Conduct research and draw conclusions from multiple data sets * Strong analytical approach including listening, questioning, and analysis * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Skills in editing English (grammar, punctuation, mechanics) with meticulous attention to detail * Work collaboratively – if you like going on your own this will not be for you * Work as part of a small sales and account management team * Be a local candidate or be willing to spend the summer in the New York City area **Some key traits we are looking for in the ideal candidate include:** * Naturally curious and hungry to learn * Experience in identifying a problem and proactively proposing solutions * Passionate about designing processes and structures to manage team projects * Thrive in a fast-paced environment but know how to manage yourself during downtimes * Highly organized, flexible, responsible and adaptable in an ever-evolving work environment * Be serious about work but lighthearted; bring a sense of humor to your day * Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet skills. A significant plus is experience with Google for enterprise (e.g., Google docs, Google sheets, Gmail)
