Summary
The Art/Creative Department at Hobby Lobby’s Corporate Offices is looking to hire an energetic, productive, team-oriented candidate for the role of Administrative Assistant for our Writing team. Do you get excited about organizing? Do you enjoy providing support to others? We are seeking someone with an eye for organization that enjoys helping others succeed. This position is at our Oklahoma City Corporate Office location ONLY and no relocation assistance is offered.
Responsibilities
* Perform and manage general clerical duties: phone calls and messages, copies, faxes,filing, and scanning documents * Update and maintain databases/filing systems * Maintain calendar(s) and time off requests * Create and modify documents using Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Products * Prepare reports, documents and correspondence as requested * Summarize critical information needed to facilitate efficient project workflow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis * Show patterns of reliability, honesty and integrity * Schedule performance reviews for Writing team * Assist with event prep * Able and adaptable to take on additional duties/tasks as assigned or specified

* Outstanding organizational, planning, and troubleshooting skills * Positive temperament and attitude that works well with a diversity of people * Efficient at multi-tasking * Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail * Welcome and apply creative input and/or feedback * Flexible and open to a diverse and fluctuating workload * Ability to work both self-sufficiently and in a team environment * Ability to maintain confidence with sensitive information * Proven written and verbal presentation and communication skills * Intermediate to expert Microsoft Office skills * Exemplary proofreading skills * Proactive, with the initiative to take on various tasks with little guidance * Highly resourceful with great follow-through and excellent time management skills * Basic Mac skills * Ability to work and thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced, team-oriented work environment * Type 55+ WPM
