Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be charged with "find them, grow them, and keep them" - recruiting the most innovative people to Softheon and building programs that help them thrive in the SoftheonSmart culture. Whether recruiting the next great SoftheonSmart, refining our core programs, developing talent or simply looking for ways to inject more fun into the lives of our SoftheonSmarts, you will bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.
Responsibilities
* Continue building out the SoftheonSmart teams; develop strong relationships with top universities and Softheon business units across the organization * Source and recruit top talent for all functions. Keep candidates continually informed with quality communications throughout the hiring process * Act as a business partner to multiple functions across the organization * Keep partners apprised of and involved in work by communicating information and status to project leads and team members, coordinating work cross-functionally and influencing peers, project leaders and/or managers * Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data, identifying alternatives when circumstances change and seeking out additional responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
* Experience negotiating complex compensation packages * Experience in HR recruitment processes, such as interviewing, candidate evaluation, and hiring * Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands * Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships * A track record of demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related area with GPA of 3.5 or higher; two or more years of recruiting experience preferred at start-ups or successful technology companies required * Must be willing to travel primarily to colleges and universities throughout NY, but outside of NY as needed up to 15%
