Summary
Skillshare is looking to add key players to our Content team. This is a crucial role for Skillshare’s growth, finding the world's best talent to add classes to our growing content library and build our brand. We view our brand like Nike and our team is very selective about who we partner with to teach on the platform, whether that's a person, fellow startup or brand. This role begins with 1) understanding what is right for the Skillshare brand, 2) identifying high-impact companies and people, and 3) working with them on a content partnership that is a win-win-win for everyone involved. An ideal candidate is a master relationship-builder isn't afraid to cold-call anyone and is maniacally organized: (s)he tracks everything so as to constantly be experimenting and optimizing. This candidate is also incredibly resourceful, moving mountains to hit the goals (s)he set for themselves and their team. (S)he has a passion for excellence and is dead-set on closing partnerships that will produce the highest quality educational content.
Responsibilities
* Outreach: Identifying, pitching and closing high-quality influencers and partnerships within our categories. * Relationship Management: Cultivating new and existing opportunities to develop and maintain your relationships. * Production: Coordinating curriculum building and filming. * Marketing: Devising a co-marketing plan that proves impactful. * Operations: Work closely with the Content and Category teams to ensure successful partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
* Track Record: 3-5+ years experience, including but not limited to: business development, partnerships, marketing, advertising or influencer marketing in a client-facing role. * Startup Experience: Experience working at a startup in a fast-paced, ever-adapting, environment * Natural relationship-builder. You have a history of going above and beyond for you clients * Incredibly organized and heavily metrics-driven with a track record of self-driven operational execution * Clear and succinct communication skills * A born hustler and collaborator. You work best on teams, being relied on by others
