Summary
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be a key outward facing person responsible for understanding the business intelligence market, defining the Sisense value proposition and messaging, identifying target customers, and positioning Sisense to compete successfully in the market. The individual will collaborate closely with sales, marketing and product management on product marketing activities. The PMM will be the voice of Sisense customers and will know what our customers want, need and how they use our products.
Responsibilities
* Manage lifecycle product marketing from pre-production research to post launch engagement * Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Sisense products in the market * Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling process of Sisense products * Support Marketing, Sales and Partner teams with creation of product demonstrations, content and value-based selling tools, e.g., ROI, solution sheets, use cases, white papers, presentations and competitive briefs. * Market intelligence – be the expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on competition and how to win * Continually assess competitive landscape and conduct market analysis * Develop deep understanding of the messaging space and trends within BI ecosystem * Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan * Work with marketing and product management on solution concepts, nomenclature, packaging, positioning, release strategies and sales training and developing and refining product requirements based on customer feedback. * Influence product development based on market research, competitive research and analysis
Ideal Candidate
* 4+ years’ experience as a B2B Product Marketing Manager or associated role * Be a team player * Highly analytical with a metrics and results driven approach * Understanding of consumer emotional triggers and ability to represent the voice of the user * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills * Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams * Ability to execute quickly while having an eye on detail * Ability to analyze, locate key trends and influence product development * Ability to capture and understands cross market customer mindset, user experience, industry trends, platforms / technology and revenue models. * Command of key marketing and product planning concepts * Ability to analyze competitors * Ability to develop customer relationships * Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits * Highest ethical standards consistent with the policies and values of the company * Functional experience in business intelligence preferred but not required
