Summary
We are seeking a manager to lead the PartsDirect B2B existing business by fostering relationships and leading account development for our core clientele. The right candidate will possess strong operational, analytical, and strategic thinking ability. You will own the B2B customer experience and work directly with the online business, call center, and technology teams to ensure an exceptional experience every time customers interact with PartsDirect.
Responsibilities
* Research markets to understand where opportunities exist to grow market share of Commercial PartsDirect * Run face-to-face meetings selling customer loyalty to business owners/property managers * Find new businesses through cold calling and leveraging your networks/existing Sears networks * Understand small business pain points and sell them on how Commercial PartsDirect can assist * Arrange appointments with property managers, maintenance staff, office staff, and building engineers as needed to promote and sell products * Provides oversight of the development of content for sales training tools used by targeted organizations during initiation and refresh activities; * Serve as point of contact for key business partner groups. Represent PartsDirect in all B2B activity, fostering open communication and strong partnerships through frequent communication, identifying issues and solutions, developing and delivering presentations, and ensuring accurate reporting and data analysis by team members; * Develop key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall financial performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement; * Owns and manages customer onboarding process. Ensures customer issues are addressed quickly and in a timely manner; * Manage and ensure customer feedback and operational efficiencies are consistently incorporated into business plans, product roadmaps and feature development; * Lead ongoing analysis of business results, focused on variance versus expectations, understanding changes in trends in both company and category performance, and identifying and elevating potential issues; * Drive accountability with business partners to ensure accurate and timely execution of PartsDirect initiatives; * Responsible for communication of account performance to PartsDirect Sr. Leadership and Home Services Executive Leadership team.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA/MSC preferred; * Minimum five (5) years’ experience in managing across multiple locations and large organizations, as well as a minimum of five (5) general management, sales, product or brand management experience; * Profit and Loss accountability and expertise; * Sales channel management and field sales management experience; * Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and strong sense of ownership for projects; * Great verbal and written communication skills.
