Summary
As Squarespace’s portfolio of products continues to grow, our relationship with our customers spans multiple product lines and products. Squarespace is seeking a product manager to focus on managing and deepening our relationship with customers and prospective customers across all products. The role will include leading development of products that help our customers manage multiple accounts and products efficiently, experience personalized onboarding, learn about relevant features that will help them succeed, and much more. You will also be focused on optimizing trial and checkout conversions, winning back customers at risk of canceling, and building solutions that have a meaningful and measurable impact on the bottom line.
Responsibilities
* Drive product development—from conception to launch—of Squarespace’s member account products across all platforms (desktop, mobile, wearables, etc.) and manage the product roadmap * Define, prioritize, and communicate short and long term product goals * Develop a deep understanding of customers by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, and usability testing * Partner with experienced engineers and designers to create extraordinary products * Partner with with marketing and acquisition to launch new products * Partner with customer operations to develop world class support for our customers * Partner with business strategy & analytics to monitor engagement and evaluate product success * Work collaboratively with other product managers to ensure consistency and compatibility across all Squarespace products
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of SaaS ecommerce and payments, effective upselling and churn prevention techniques, and a fondness for A/B testing. He or she is highly self-directed, excited by questions that do not have obvious answers, extremely observant and insightful, deeply attentive to details, and motivated to continually iterate to build best-in-class products. * 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in an ecommerce SaaS or payments based business * Experience with global payments a major plus * Keen product intuition and UX design sensibilities, with a strong desire to discover and fulfill the needs of users * Technical background a plus * Strong balance of both analytical and creative thinking * Passionate and knowledgeable about Squarespace products and data * Excellent leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships across distinct stakeholders
