Summary
The Graphic Design Coordinator will be responsible for the timely execution of marketing materials as they relate to the overall marketing strategy, reporting to the Senior Manager of Creative Services. Projects will include design and production development for environmental outputs (with a focus on retail signage and in-­store visuals), digital outputs (with a focus on ads and other web assets), and illustration. The Graphic Design Coordinator will use their graphic design background, proficiency in current graphic design applications, and production knowledge to assemble and manage graphic art and production files. S/he will also work with other departments in order to meet all deadlines and will be willing to assist in all areas of the Creative Services team as needed.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Creative Services team in arranging production-­ready artwork for new * marketing collateral concepts, specs, and components, while maintaining corporate cost * goals, brand standards, and overall strategy * Responsible for projects through to completion within agreed timeline * Assemble and maintain art files for production, while working with other departments to * maintain strict schedule for file release * Confirm accuracy of press proofs and production samples * Maintain a constant line of communication and provide relevant information to internal * colleagues to drive the development process * Additional tasks may include: illustration, creating mock-­ups * Minimal travel may be required
Ideal Candidate
* A strong design portfolio demonstrating command of typography, layout solutions, and * outstanding problem solving skills * Highly motivated team player with ability to multitask, sensitivity to strict schedules, and * flexibility to make changes within tight deadlines * Creative savvy and conceptual instincts with a strong interest in marketing and fashion * Excellent communication and relationship building skills * Skilled knowledge of industry leading graphic software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After * Effects) * Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) **Education/Experience** * Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field * 1–2 years’ experience in graphic design for marketing * Basic working knowledge of printing methods/pre-­press, digital standards, and production * techniques
