Summary
**Priming you for executive leadership** * The Director role is a path towards a general management position in which you’ll interact frequently with senior leadership in the company, as well as with the executive management teams of our partners. * In this role, you’ll support one or more of our businesses in industries ranging from insurance and telecom to energy and consumer services. * You’ll make decisions that affect all critical aspects of your business from P&L management to sales operations, marketing, business development, financial management, human capital, partnerships or even the launch of a new business. * You’ll do more than consult – you’ll immerse yourself in one of our businesses. You’ll drive daily performance, develop solutions and see them through as they are implemented.
Responsibilities
* Analyze, negotiate, and innovate * Play a significant role in daily operational responsibilities for one of Red Ventures’ rapidly growing business units * Optimize each stage of our demand generation touch points and sales center operations * Research and evaluate potential marketing partners through the development of strong business cases, quantitative models and economic projections, taking into consideration the risks and long term potential and strategic objectives * Identify trends, analyze drivers and ultimately seize profit driving and partnership deepening opportunities * Develop and continually drive project work plans, timelines and budgets * Collaborate closely with marketing partners to identify opportunities to optimize offers and response rates to maximize profit contribution * Brainstorm, validate, test and refine customer acquisition initiatives utilizing A/B split testing to ensure ongoing improvements * Drive a large volume of profitable customer acquisition results * Develop and lead teams including sales, marketing, creative and technology
Ideal Candidate
* Strong analytical prowess and entrepreneurial mindset * To succeed in this role you don’t have to come from any of our industries. The value of this path is to find those with great business acumen and leadership skills and arm them with the tools, teams and freedom they need to become future executives. * The ideal candidate has leadership traits that will transition well to any business or industry. People who do well in this position have a minimum of 5-8 years of business experience in top consulting firms, investment banks, or private equity firms potentially followed by experience in industry. * A Bachelor’s degree, typically in an analytically oriented discipline (e.g. business, economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.) or technology oriented discipline (e.g. computer science, MIS, etc.) * While an MBA is not required, many candidates have likely earned an MBA from a top-tier program and have a track record of success in strategic development and execution of business operations * Experience with in-depth analytics and problem solving, the ability to think strategically while being detail and execution-oriented, and success in managing competing priorities. * Eagerness to break records, create opportunities, and take risks; we love a competitive spirit. * Comfort in a fast-paced and often changing environment, with an inclination to solve new problems and learn new skills in order to succeed. * Our employees behave like entrepreneurs.
