Director Clinical Information and Reporting (Risk Adjustment)

Director of Risk Adjustment analytics will direct internal and external analysis and reporting functions for clinical data to perform substantive, comprehensive quantitative analyses to facilitate data-driven decision making and position the company competitively relative to outcomes, clinical operations and profitability as it relates to risk adjustment activities.

* Collaborates with other clinical analysis program leaders to develop and refine program evaluation metrics in order to build and enhance the company’s value proposition. * Leads report development and enhancement for medical management programs. * Transform clinical analytics functionality. * Provide clinical analysis and ad-hoc analytical support to assist plan presidents, finance leads, plan medical directors, account managers, employers, members and providers in making decisions about plan medical management programs and design.

* Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience in financial, utilization, and quality measures of health care, managed care information development, physician profiling reporting or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Extensive experience in leading analytic team * Experience and knowledge of risk adjustment analytics strongly preferred * Preferred Education and Experience: * Graduate-level degree preferred with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Computer Science or Operations Research or equivalent experience * MBA or MPH also preferred * Experience with developing expert modeling system for segmentation/stratification that supports customized strategies for different customer segments in a major industry highly desirable - healthcare, financial, database/direct marketing, online retails, consulting, etc. * Substantial analytical experience in healthcare industry preferred. * Advanced expertise with SAS or equivalents analytical tools comprehensive experience with Teradata, SQL, or equivalent data base tools.
