Summary
The Director, Corporate Communications leads the strategic development, implementation, and management of external and internal communication strategies for the company. The incumbent works in partnership with the VP of Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy to develop cohesive communications strategies and plans that are align with the company vision, mission and goals.
Responsibilities
* Develops and directs strategic public relations plans that effectively communicate the Radius story and brands to a variety of external audiences and generate positive external responses and awareness. Develops high-quality communications materials and messages aligned with company goals, including press releases, fact sheets, talking points, and Q&A documents. * Coordinates with Investor Relations on corporate messaging and preparation for company milestones, medical conferences, investor conferences and other events. * Serves as business liaison among internal stakeholders, such as Legal, Finance and Regulatory, to gain alignment and consensus on external communications materials. * Establishes/maintains excellent and productive relationships with healthcare reporters, local media and other external stakeholders. In partnership with HR and senior leadership team, designs and executes strategic internal communication plans to enhance employee engagement and promote understanding of business priorities and key initiatives. * Designs, develops, and leads annual internal communications strategy to drive employee awareness and engagement around key business priorities. * Develops and manages written content for internal communications including company announcements, business presentations, articles, talking points, videos, etc. for multiple channels including the intranet, social media, employee meetings, videos, emails, etc. * Manages agency partners and outside consultants
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Master’s degree preferred. * 8 to 10 years of progressive corporate communications experience. Prior experience in or with public life science companies is a must; combination of PR agency and in-house experience preferred. Experience in Osteoporosis and/or oncology and commercial launch experience are a plus.
