Summary
We're seeking a full-time account manager. We're looking for someone who can work in the New York City office and has a minimum of 3-4 years digital media account management experience with a top performance record. This candidate should be a self-starter, an entrepreneur-in-residence who understands the online marketing/advertising industry. The main objective of this position is to manage the ad campaign lifecycle, including optimization, reporting and needed improvements to the campaign to deliver results. The Account Manager partners with the sales, design, editorial, product, marketing and finance teams to manage the technical issues and performance goals surrounding campaigns. He or she drives results in order to support customer retention. The Account Manager is responsible for building revenue through superior campaign management and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities
* Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to PureWow’s customer partnerships and campaigns * Work in conjunction with sales team to gain a clear understanding of clients’ goals and objectives pre-campaign launch. * Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships * Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives * Frequently communicate with client providing them with relevant updates, timelines, assets for approval and reporting. * Ultimately providing best in class customer service and increasing repeat business. * Forecast and track key account metrics * Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the various business units listed above to ensure growth attainment * Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed * Utilize internal and external reporting systems to analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities ensuring optimum campaign success. * Collaborate with Product Director and SVP of Sales to contribute to the ongoing development of advertising solutions. * Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree or equivalent * Minimum 3+ years account management, customer service or sales experience. * Proven record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable environment. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook. CRM tool experience preferred. * Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms (DFP, Google Analytics, etc). * Exceptional customer service and relationship management abilities. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Effective and creative problem solving and decision making skills. * Proven account management or other relevant experience * Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level * Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs * Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment. * Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills * Excellent verbal and written communications skills
