Responsibilities
UPMC Corporate Services is hiring a full-time Senior Manager, Digital Strategy to help support the Web Strategy and Development Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location. The hours for this position are standard business hours, Monday through Friday. To be responsible for establishing and managing digital brand strategy and client relationships through various digital channels, setting up, selling and executing a vision, from delivering stand alone projects to integrated campaigns, developing brand presence, tracking online and delivering brand email. The Senior Manager, Digital Strategy will be responsible for delivering the digital brand objectives. - Work as a liaison between clients and digital marketing support services including web strategy, email, social media, applications/development, SEO/PPC and analytics teams. - Responsible for development of comprehensive digital campaigns and solutions that achieves the marketing objectives of our clients. - Understanding client business needs and objectives and helping to establish consistent messaging across all digital marketing disciplines. - Responsible for executing and delivering the company¿s digital / online marketing strategy, planning and budget to include online, new media, web, e-commerce and SEO to drive the business forwards through key marketing channels. - Responsible for managing online branding, communications and campaigns through the company website, email marketing, building the online community, attracting new customers, search engine optimization, and search marketing. - Review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver the communication and business objectives. - Responsible for improving the content and conversion points of the company¿s digital properties and for the promotion and growth of these same properties. - Work with the Director to plan and implement all online marketing campaigns including digital campaign collateral. - Responsible for the smooth running and completion of projects across site builds, online advertising, social media, maximizing online sales opportunities and search marketing. - Responsible for identifying and prioritizing digital marketing objectives and projects, creating and communicating Marketing targets / briefs as well as, ensuring that they are delivered within budget and scope. - Develop and maintain strong client and internal relationships with colleagues and third party providers. - Interpret brand parameters and goals and set up a vision for achieving them through communication vehicles, sell this vision, and execute it.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor in Marketing, Communication, Business or a related field. - Master degree Business preferred. - Expertise in digital marketing and digital content management preferred. - Minimum eight years of online marketing experience (branding, affiliate, CRM) preferably with a premium brand within a retail or healthcare environment is required. - Experience in digital areas such as social media, email, SEO/PPC, web design, application development and content strategy preferred. Experience of campaign management eg Google AdWords, AdMob, Email. - Solid understanding of web metrics and analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. - Familiarity with patient portals or e-visit platforms helpful. - Excellent verbal and written skills. Problem solving skills and analytical thinking abilities. Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, and information architecture. - Proficiency using tools to track and report on response rates, traffic and pick up. - Understanding of the principles of design for digital communications. - Ability to interpret brand parameters and goals and set up a vision for achieving them through communication vehicles, sell this vision, and execute it. - Proven experience in digital marketing and online PR in an agency or consumer branding environment. - Strong understanding the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand.
