Summary
The Global Communications team directs internal employee and external communications efforts to ensure the company's messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with Prudential’s goals and policies. This position within the Group is supporting communication strategies and plans for a specific business group.
Responsibilities
* Construct and execute campaigns on behalf of senior leadership to promote the role of the modern financial professional, the importance of financial advice in securing and protecting consumers’ financial wellness, as well as the dynamic career paths available to financial professionals. * Position senior leaders as thought leaders in the industry, while demonstrating Prudential’s deep bench strength and commitment to diversity – all of which support the organization’s recruiting strategies. * Developsand implement grassroots and social media strategies (LinkedIn and Facebook) supporting Prudential’s captive sales force; work closely with compliance and legal to maximize shareability of content. * Understand sales culture, and develop and promote communications tools for practice management and advanced markets. * Target communications and approaches to generational and multicultural sub-markets to boost impact and results in collaboration with multicultural and content marketing teams, particularly. * Cultivate and manage media interview opportunities in support of overall business strategy. * Develop editorial content – written, audio and video—that can be leveraged across Prudential’s internal communication properties, as well as to enrich external communication efforts.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in complementary or related field * 5+ years professional experience in a corporate/agency environment; ideally within the financial services sector or a category requiring community engagement * Strong marketing, branding, grassroots, and social media acumen * Clear, concise, and engaging storytelling communications ability both verbally and in written form * Unparalleled project management skills * Strategic and client oriented mindset with an ability to work closely with and support key corporate partners * Skilled at influencing others and working collaboratively in order to produce results across multiple functional teams * Ability to prioritize and operate in a very fast-paced environment * Executive presence; frequent in person interaction with Executive leaders
