Summary
As POLITICO’s Corporate Recruiter, you will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition initiatives across a broad range of business teams, including but not limited to: Sales, Marketing, Events, Finance, Human Resources and Communications. Specifically, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and closing candidates; while providing exceptional levels of service and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will be creative recruiter with experience implementing customized sourcing strategies. Most importantly, you should enjoy the hunt and know the art of the close.
Responsibilities
* Foster talent communities by building relationships with diverse candidates in the marketplace * Evaluate skill, conduct effective interviews, and drive offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and negotiations, and closing of candidates * Utilize online recruiting sources such as major and niche job boards, professional networking sites, user groups and list-serves, blogs, social media, and direct sourcing to identify and recruit qualified passive and active candidates * Advocate for the candidate and provide all candidates with an exceptional experience, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process * Coach hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates * Suggest innovative ways to identify and engage new talent using social media and other means * Position and effectively articulate the POLITICO employment brand * Partner with HR team to design and implement new recruiting strategies, as well as track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required * Minimum 5 years proven experience in a fast paced, full-cycle recruiting environment, including expertise filling niche positions * Demonstrated success recruiting Sales Associates and Sales Leaders strongly preferred * Experience with advanced search methods, such as AIRS methodologies, Social Media and other progressive techniques to attract and qualify active and passive candidates * Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple clients, and provide strong consultative skills throughout the search process * Strong business acumen and competitive market awareness * Adept at communicating across all levels stakeholders while inspiring confidence * Must be familiar with employment law, recruitment best practices * AIRS or other recruiting certifications a plus
