Summary
We are currently searching for a Director to lead our sales planning and analysis team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial analysis of a relatively large and complex business. In addition, the candidate should understand and be capable of implementing financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes. The candidate will be need to be proficient in and be able to train others in financial variance analysis and deriving conclusions from large underlying data sets. This position will have significant exposure to senior executives, including Taboola’s COO, CFO and CEO. So come join and be a part of Taboola’s success!
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain multiple versions annual operating plan / budget. * Analyze performance against operating plan and additional projections. Report to management team and board on performance versus forecasts and plans, including explaining any underlying variances. * Setup regular reports and dashboards to increase visibility of business performance versus plan. * Manage, maintain and calculate results for sales team commission / variable comp plans. * Establish and manage a forecasting process for the business that is reliable and reasonably accurate. * Analyze actual performance versus projections to explain any underlying variances in detail. * Effectively manage Sales Planning and Analysis team across locations (currently NY and Tel Aviv).
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements:** * BA/BS or equivalent related experience in finance, statistics, quantitative economics, accounting or another degree emphasizing financial and/or data analysis. * Ability to understand and analyze financial statements and relatively complex businesses. * Strong team management / leadership skills. * Strong communications skills. * Advanced skills in excel. **Not Required But Would Add Significant Value:** * MBA or equivalent, preferably with a focus on finance and accounting. * Significant experience in a corporate FP&A (financial planning and analysis). * Demonstrated track record of building out financial systems at a rapidly growing company. * Experience managing variable compensation plans for a large and complex sales organization. * Experience working in online businesses, especially online advertising.
