Summary
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for HR operations, benefits administration, and serving as a HR Business Partner to designated department leaders. The ideal candidate would have a passion for developing relationships and enhancing HR processes in highly dynamic and innovative environments. The stand out candidate would also have an entrepreneurial interest and knowledge of online video, digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers. The candidate would also have a proven track record of building relationships with personnel of all levels within the company, improving people processes within the organization, and achieving metric driven goals to support the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization.
Responsibilities
* Serve as main point in contact for employees which include on-boarding, responding to employee inquiries and facilitation of employee development * Serve as an advisor to designated department leaders which includes assisting managers with communication and coaching in regards to performance management and employee relations * Administer employee anniversary program * Manage temporary assignments with partnered staffing agencies and managers * Conduct exit interviews and review/respond to unemployment claims as needed * Adhere to and effectively communicate company policies and procedures as needed * Assist HR team with payroll administration, recruiting administration, on-boarding administration, and new hire orientation as needed * Prepare and maintain reports as requested * Maintain compliance with legal requirements for employee files, harassment training, FLSA, FMLA, and EEOC reporting regulations * Assist with benefits administration and enrollment of new and existing employees to benefit programs, and process changes to benefits - includes addressing any questions surrounding existing plans, troubleshooting any basic online enrollment issues, and auditing monthly health insurance invoices * Assist with 401k program including communicating enrollment instructions, addressing any plan inquiries, and coordinating education sessions
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications** * 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience * Bachelor’s degree. HR certification a plus * Demonstrated experience in managing a variety of employee relations issues and counseling all levels of employees, while working in an environment of change * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, with all levels of the company both verbally and through written correspondence * Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute a variety of tasks and projects * Self-starter and proactive problem solver * High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation **Bonus Points** * Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Google Calendar, Google Docs * Want, need, can’t live without making a daily impact to the business * Prior experience in digital media, online video, or consumer facing technology
