Summary
Provides leadership, management, delivery and coordination of activities required to enable and support enterprise architecture and analytics program. Interfaces with the various business units to understand IT needs. Establishes long-term technical standards and directions for multiple IT disciplines and pushes forward a service-oriented model. Provides expertise in the Enterprise Architecture that can be utilized in conjunction with ITIL and modern SDLC’s, application, server, and network architectures using next- generation technologies and developing documentation templates that can be used in a project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Assists in defining a cohesive, long-term technical vision to the Information Technology team that is in direct alignment with the needs of the business. Works with varied stakeholder groups to ensure alignment around objectives, priorities, resourcing, schedules, and ownership. Utilizes an industry framework to develop and customize an Enterprise Architecture roadmap and documentation for use by the enterprise wide analytics program. * Develops enterprise vision and strategies that articulate the value of the analytics program across all relevant areas of the business and helps increase business adoption of the analytics platform. * Develops and Implements all applicable IT architecture principles, standards and guidelines in the Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) area. * Provides oversight to data analytic activities to ensure alignment of priorities and coordination of inter- related projects and resources, and ensuring consistency and leverage across technologies, data sources, and analytic models * Works with business leaders, business owners, operation research, and data experts to identify detailed data needs, sources and structure to support solution development. Oversees creation of requirements, specifications and business processes documentation. Ensures the design and delivery of the data infrastructure required to support needs of predictive modeling and analytics. * Manages successful delivery of enterprise analytics program that are identified in the capital portfolio. Assists in capital budget management strategy. Develops and tracks capital and Operating and * Maintenance budgets and account for budget variances. Anticipates variances and communicates expected results. * Manages employees including assessing employee performance and identifies training and development opportunities for employees. Develops and implements employee performance improvement and career planning actions. * Stays abreast and connected with other utilities/companies to be industry-aware and incorporate best practices from other similar implementations. * Adheres to corporate standards, policies, and overall compliance by collaborating with other IT teams. * Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company. * Monitors and enforces all compliance requirements for area of responsibility. * Performs related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Education and Work Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited school and 6 or more years of experience in multiple IT areas and at least 2 years of experience in implementing Business Intelligence and “Big Data” analytical solutions. **Specialized Knowledge and Skills** * Demonstrated knowledge of data architecture, data management, ETL, Reporting and analytical technology specifically hands-on working knowledge of Hadoop or similar distributed computing and experience working with very large data sets. * Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing upper management and key stakeholders. * Demonstrated communication, decision making, project management, analytical, lateral thinking, planning and problem solving skills. * Demonstrated ability to apply multiple technologies to business situations, identifies and applies productivity improvements, and blends the technical environment with strategic direction. **Equipment and Applications** * PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

$103,500 (Min) to $134,400 (Mid) / DOE per year; 15% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity.

Travel Percentage 26 - 50 %
