ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The following duties are generally representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- The CIM Analyst will be responsible for supporting the team's efforts around better serving the Retail Distribution team by performing the following duties:
- Extract, aggregate and analyze data from disparate sources to uncover trends in business performance. Create and maintain reports (filters, prompts and metrics) to reflect the information.
- Assist with researching and documenting the quality of current of transaction/asset detail available for our products
- Develop relationships and coordinate meetings within the CIM team, Sales and other departments to review the findings/progress related to our ongoing efforts for increased sales transparency
- Document and educate internal areas about our relationship with our customers firms from a data perspective and how that impacts reporting/analysis capabilities; work with different departments to improve the information available for reporting and analysis.
- Gather data, validate outside reporting/vendors, and review internal classifications that will help to improve the transparency of our Defined Contribution business for our sales teams
- Participate in various data quality initiatives across Retail Distribution, which may include omnibus reporting, mutual fund data integration and third-party data providers
- Assist VP of Customer Information with ad hoc and project-based analysis based on current business needs
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; degree in business or finance preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, experience within the financial services industry strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CRM and/or MF Operations is preferred
INTERPERSONAL/COMMUNICATION SKILLS :
- Professional approach to work with a service orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- High level of proficiency in SQL, MS Access and Excel; Tableau reporting experience a plus
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving and skills; strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize, manipulate and interpret large data sets into action-oriented information
- Results-oriented with ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner
- Innovative thinker and creative problem solver
