Summary
As a Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue (SFA) you will be responsible for driving the planning, analysis, and reporting of revenue and our consumer funnel, partnering closely with business stakeholders and members of FP&A, Analytics, and Accounting. You have a deep understanding of transactional consumer business concepts, and will perform complex financial analysis/modeling while gaining invaluable experience in a position with significant responsibility and interaction with business partners. The successful candidate is a driven, quantitative thinker who knows how to get the details right while moving quickly in a results-driven environment. This highly-visible role is based in the San Francisco headquarters with frequent interaction across global offices.
Responsibilities
* Prepare forecast updates, quantification of ongoing risks and opportunities, as well as other monthly corporate deliverables as required as it relates to revenue * Partner with key business stakeholders and FP&A team to maintain and develop bookings and revenue forecast in support of the ongoing financial planning process * Support the Director, FP&A and Senior Management with financial forecasts for applicable revenue and operating expenses; in addition to organizing and implementing ad hoc analysis as required * Identify, analyze, and present trends and deviations from forecast on an ongoing basis with business partners as well as finance leadership * Prepare ongoing deliverables, which include analyses of volume, rate, mix, and gross profit across consumer channels versus forecast and prior periods * Drive and implement enhanced reporting that addresses the key performance metrics of the business, partnering with FP&A and Data Analytics stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or similar skillset, with analytics and planning tools experience * Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, economics and/or similar quantitative discipline required * Deep knowledge of consumer funnel metrics and supply/demand dynamics, with background in modeling and analyzing consumer metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROI, and conversion * Demonstrated experience building and maintaining multi-regression analyses and detailed models for a business with numerous and complex channels of revenue required * Proven ability to partner with other analysts and functions * Advanced Excel required; experience with Hyperion Essbase, SQL, Tableau or similar BI platforms preferred * Background working in technology (preferably e-commerce, payments, or transactional business models); travel, hotel, gaming, and/or retail; public sector companies preferred * Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment with time pressures * Highly motivated, collaborative, naturally proactive, fun, and responsive team player
