Summary
NewPoint Media Group, publishers of The Real Estate Book and Homes & Land, is recruiting a SEM & Social Media Marketing Strategist who will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns through social media outlets as well as day-to-day management and execution of paid and organic search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Provide input into media strategy such as search, display, social, sponsored content, etc. and be able to execute on said strategy. * Manage paid search marketing campaigns across multiple search engines, including but not limited to keyword research & generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management and more. * Manage social media campaigns. Must be someone who is always looking for creative ways to present our brands to consumers and advertisers. * Provide analytics and results based reporting to management. * Ability to analyze data, determine insights and develop recommendations to optimize campaigns. * Have the ability to think creatively and be innovative. * Have the ability to create ad copy and properly source content. * Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. * Ensure that all stakeholders are kept fully informed of project status, issues and progress. * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of all major social media platforms, both personally and professionally, as well as knowledge of social media analytics. The ideal candidate will have search engine optimization (SEO) knowledge and a proven track record of managing SEM and social media campaigns to fruition. Knowledge and experience using AdWords, Bing, Google Tag Manager, Facebook and other search marketing and analytic tools is required. You must have strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management. This position requires someone who can manage their time wisely and is organized. You should have a unique blend of technical skill and creative savvy. You are a detail-oriented self-starter who has the ability to meet tight deadlines with flawless execution. You strive to stay on top of trends in marketing and are always seeking information. You excel at problem-solving. * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Journalism, or English. * 4+ years working in Social Media, Digital Marketing and Online Advertising. Agency experience a definite plus. * High level of experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social networks, with an understanding of how users communicate on them. * Experience managing Facebook pages, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Twitter accounts at the corporate level. * Must be tech savvy. * Understanding of and experience with SEO, SEM and PPC campaign management and execution. * Must have experience and understanding of data and analytics strategies and execution. * Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. * A proven track record of developing online campaigns that extend across social, web, mobile, online advertising, search, loyalty, etc. * You'll get Bonus Points if you have working knowledge of responsive web design, Content Management Systems (CMS), HTML and/or CSS.
