- Assist in day-to-day SEO operations including site enhancements, content development, link building campaigns, and analysis. - Work closely with operations to gather new product information and work closely with in-house photographer, customer service and Direct Mail Manager - Keyword Research: Identify important keywords and phrases for organic search optimization - SEO Copywriting: Optimize on-site content for maximum visibility and search engine ranking including meta descriptions and alt tags. - Search Engine Guidelines: Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development. - Social Media Content: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest - Link Building: In-bound link development from relevant sites and directories. - Maintain the company's image, identity and communication style - Light administrative responsibilities as needed

- A minimum of 2-3 years copywriting and content curation experience - E-commerce experience preferred, basic knowledge of HTML & online marketing concepts a plus - Experience with Google Analytics a plus - Familiarity with Magento and Big Commerce platforms a plus - Attention to detail, style, copy and message, ability to write in a variety of styles and voices - Strong command and knowledge of the English language: excellent writing and verbal skills - Possess self-motivation and strong work ethic, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently - Bachelor's degree required with emphasis on Marketing, English, or Journalism.
