Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and manage a comprehensive social media marketing strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to support the company’s overarching marketing goals and objectives. - The successful candidate should offer demonstrated experience and a business-focused passion for the social technology universe (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, SocialCam, Foursquare, Flickr, blogs, wikis, RSS social bookmarking, discussion forums, etc.) - The candidate should also have familiarity with marketing automation platforms and website development. - Work with senior management to develop company-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media; - Create engaging content and campaigns for social media components, including Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube and Facebook; - Created and execute a strategy to optimize Inovalon’s web presence using SEO and PPC Work with marketing and product teams to develop strategies, content and digital tools to advance business goals; - Develop and post engaging content across social media platforms using multimedia, including video,images and written updates; - Work with marketing and product development teams to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns; - Manage and execute strategies and innovative content to grow social media and website audiences; "Listen" to the social media community regularly; - Monitor, analyze, interpret and report results to the marketing team regularly; - Measure, analyze and document the success and impact of social media efforts on campaigns and organizational goals. - Identify and report on digital/social media trend to internal teams; - Identify and develop relationships with key bloggers and other influencers in social media. Keep updated/current lists of those influencers across multiple categories; and Develop digital materials calendar. - Manage logistics of email campaigns, working in marketing automation platform to distribute and track success of all initiatives - Posts press releases, blogs and website content to the website - Works closely with website developer, corporate communications and product marketing teams to manage website content, monitor traffic and report on results related to comprehensive marketing campaigns
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, New Media or equivalent experience preferred - Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with direct involvement managing digital and/or social builds (applications, websites) - Demonstrated knowledge of the latest trends in social media, mobile content, email marketing and production of digital materials (written, graphical and video) - Demonstrated knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and other PPC platforms - Prior experience with web analytics and tracking, social listening tools, social management platforms and content management systems a plus - Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Ability to handle multiplepriority projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines and deliverables with quick turnarounds - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication excellent proofreading skills, with greatattention to detail - Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and follow through - Knowledge of Eloqua or other marketing automation system a plus - Strong writing and editing skills preferred - Must be creative, innovative, outgoing and a team player
