The HR assistant is responsible for providing support of the day-to-day operations in the human resources function. The incumbent will have a clear and thorough understanding of processes and policies and a strong customer service focus.
- Support administrative staff and warehouse staff through handling of all correspondence, timekeeping, attendance, and production tracking.
- Pre-screening applicants and processing new-hire documentation
- Timekeeping, payroll preparation, coordination of warehouse employee vacation scheduling, and maintenance of attendance records.
- Timekeeping and record maintenance for temporary personnel.
- Preparation of bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required by RDC management staff and Human Resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum high school diploma
- 1 - 2 years previous HR/Payroll experience preferred
- Strong computer experience – Outlook, Excel and Word
- Reporting tool experience is preferred
