The SEM/SEO analyst is an important role within with Digital-Marketing team with primary responsibility to manage search engine optimization and marketing activities for National General Insurance and its subsidiary sites. This position would also be responsible for analyzing and researching keywords, and collaborating on social media strategies.Success metrics will be based on both increased organic and qualified PPC traffic leading to enhanced online and offline conversion.
- Plan, develop and implement all elements of our paid media campaigns (including display)
- Hands-on management of the SEM tools including managing to a fiscal budget
- Create keyword research for multiple sites, including meta-tags, title tags and headers.
- Conduct competitor analysis and develop action plans.
- Bid Management and optimization to hit CPA/?ROI goals
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Develop and implement link-building strategies
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Optimize paid search campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Exchange and other search engine marketing platforms.
- Keep up to date with technology, share information and collaborate with teammates
- Proven SEO experience with a track record of producing measurable results
- Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across the major engines
- Experience with search engine research and reporting resources, keyword generation and knowledge of Google Analytics or Omniture SiteCatalyst.
- Experience with ad-serving tools such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Bid Manager and DoubleClick Search
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or computer science preferred
- Direct PPC experience with Google AdWords, Bing and other PPC programs
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in the insurance industry considered a plus
