Summary

You’ll help drive customer and professional acquisition for Thumbtack through digital marketing campaigns. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the direct response marketing landscape. Thumbtack is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, and you can expect to work with team members across our organization to create strong digital programs that directly impact our business.

Responsibilities
  • Work with closely with our Digital Acquisition Manager to support Thumbtack’s digital acquisition marketing efforts
  • Develop, execute, and measure large scale digital marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to drive continuous improvements in KPIs
  • Partner with digital marketing peers and agencies to deliver campaigns meeting company business objectives
  • Constantly dive into campaign performance metrics to maximize yield and surface new learnings for digital acquisition and the company in general
  • Leading testing and optimization efforts around ad creatives and landing pages to maximize yield
  • Staying current on digital best practices and the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in an analytical role at a digital advertising agency or tech company
  • Highly attentive to detail, strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mind
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience in spreadsheets, SQL, analytics and bid management tools
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Product and Sales teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points

  • Fluent in marketing platforms Facebook, Google Analytics, Pinterest, Google Adwords
  • Knowledge & experience with ad management platforms, such as Nanigans, Kenshoo or others
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization and A/B testing projects and tools
  • Experience using SQL for data analysis of marketing campaigns
  • Experience marketing to both consumer and business audiences
  • Experience in digital marketing, online and mobile analytics, mobile marketing
  • Experience at a high growth tech company
