Summary
This is a key role within a dynamic and global Marketing & Product Strategy team responsible for driving the growth of Research, Data and Analytics business for Moody's Analytics. Within that team, you will be a member of a best-in-class marketing function tasked with positioning Moody’s as a leading provider of credit research and analytic services by building awareness, reliance and demand for Moody’s content. In this role, you will work on initiatives to ensure that our customers’ needs are at the core of all marketing activities. This includes the support of market intelligence initiatives that inform product development and the design and execution of integrated product marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support design and implementation of targeted qualitative and quantitative market research activities in collaboration with managers across Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) and Moody’s Analytics (MA) using a variety of formats, including: - Online questionnaires - Customer interview guides - Pulse surveys/polling - Beta testing - User forums/customer advisory boards - Recruit customers and market participants for one-on-one feedback interviews, schedule interview sessions and manage interview calendar for team - Gather market intelligence on major trends affecting demand for credit research, data and analytics - Chart and analyze market research study findings - Maintain market intelligence calendar - Assist with compilation of quarterly summaries of market intelligence activities across the Content group and communication of these reviews to key stakeholders across the organization - Identify new market intelligence channels and formats; research and present new ideas to the team - Integrate market intelligence findings into external- and internal-facing marketing collateral including: product brochures, sales and customer service training and support materials, and other positioning and brand-building opportunities - Provide support for other marketing communications projects (e.g. marketing campaigns, sales support) as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or Economic - 1 - 3 years of experience - Understanding of fixed income/credit markets desirable; experience within Financial Services or Consulting industry a plus - Strong analytical skills - Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills - Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage several projects at once and communicate proactively, without close supervision - Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; demonstrated ability to maintain and manipulate high volumes of data in an analytical capacity - Experience with Power Point - Experience with online survey platforms (e.g. Survey Gizmo, Qualtrics) and questionnaire writing and/or customer intelligence initiatives a plus - Experience in B2B marketing communications a plus - Ability to excel in a global, team-based environment - Quick learner; shows initiative and willingness to learn new things - High level of confidence interacting with senior business professionals - Ability to work across multiple teams and projects concurrently, while maintaining the highest level of quality in work
