Summary
As an integral part of this creative and dynamic team, the Internal Communications Manager is responsible for managing employee communications across an array of channels and assisting with company-wide events and other special projects. Part of the global corporate communications team, this role will coordinate with representatives in each region and members of the external communications team to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
Responsibilities
* Create and execute creative, integrated internal communication plans for company-wide and cross-functional initiatives * Develop strategies to advance the effectiveness of various communications vehicles in delivering and reinforcing company messages * Provide communications guidance to key executives and senior leaders to help drive employee engagement, motivation and understanding of Moody's mission, values and business strategy. * Develop and contribute content for the company Intranet * Write and edit clear, concise copy for publications and executive communications, including PowerPoint presentations
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or other related field plus 7 years' experience managing communications successfully * Must have a proven track record of superb written and oral communications; excellent proofreading and editing skills; a keen attention to detail * Familiarity with financial concepts a plus * Open to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously * Experience with SharePoint, web design and site metrics; a passion for creating engaging and relevant web content * Strong relationship builder who is comfortable working with leaders at all levels * Creative thinker who embraces and drives change * Enthusiasm and interest in existing and emerging communications channels, including video * Demonstrated project management experience; ability to implement global initiatives * Must be a professional, extremely organized, enthusiastic and flexible team player who can work independently
