Reading Health System is in need of Web Coordinator - Nursing for West Reading, Pennsylvania. Please refer to the job functions and qualifications stated below.

The Nursing Web Coordinator is responsible for the daily maintenance, programming, and new development of nursing websites and web-based applications, including the Center for Nursing portal of the hospital internet site. This includes working with nurse leaders, clinical practice educators, and shared governance leaders to keep websites updated, accurate, and innovative; assisting webmaster and IMS Systems Analysts to implement new content management systems and technologies for nursing websites; assuring style and branding of nursing websites are aligned with those of the organization.

Provides support for nursing shared governance activities and project initiatives such as Magnet designation and re-designation activities; provides support for Nursing Administration projects, activities or initiatives and office operations as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 2 or 4 Year BS or BA in website development and design, computer science, communications, or business administration (required) or experience in web development and design will be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience and Skills

• 1-3 Years PC operation and troubleshooting, word processing applications, HTML, desktop publishing, database maintenance, project management, digital imaging (Required)
• 1-3 Years Website maintenance, development, design (Required)
• 1-3 Years Acute care hospital or healthcare setting (Preferred)
• Excellent Communications and Interpersonal Skills
• Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, & Web-Based Survey Methodology
• Accurate and Efficient Entry and Navigation in Multiple Software Systems
