Summary
As the Content Marketing Manager, with the Department of Commerce, you are shaping the future of the great state of Montana. You develop and implement innovative and integrated content strategies to create and distribute the right tourism promotion content at the right time, in the right locations, to the right consumers.
Responsibilities
* Build and lead the Content Marketing Program, including strategy development and staff management. * Take part in a complete marketing experience as you direct each phase of targeting consumers to travel to Montana. * Steering content development, overseeing design, executing competitive analysis, and growing external partners, you help establish the voice of the brand and increase visitation to Montana. * Be involved with brand marketing strategy from beginning to end in coordination with team members and contracted agencies.
Ideal Candidate
* This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field and 4-5 years of job related experience in content and asset management, curation, budgets and supervision. * A combination of experience and education will be considered. * Content strategy development and implementation. * Search engine marketing and optimization. * Working with brands and brand standards. * CMS, web page templates, and development of content for web and print. * Digital asset management systems. * Contract management and negotiation. * Budget and staff management. * Publications process from inception to distribution. * Research and data analysis, analyzing content optimization across multiple platforms. * Project management. * Managing multiple projects, across programs, with conflicting and overlapping timelines. * Written (for print and web), oral, and interpersonal communication.
