A Creative Director to work with forward-thinking tech clients in order to visualize and communicate their message to a diverse audience of partners and marketers in large-scale conference settings.
Responsibilities
**General Job Responsibilities:** The Creative / Content Director will drive the creation and design of multiple keynote and breakout presentations for high-level tech clients. This individual should be excited to work directly with clients to bring their brand messages to life for a diverse and demanding audience that expects to be excited, informed and entertained. The Creative / Content Director should view messaging as a form of storytelling that creates a journey for the audience across speakers and content, seamlessly weaving graphics, language, animation and video to drive a visceral understanding of each speaker’s content. **Primary areas of responsibility include:** * Meeting directly with high-level tech executives to strategically understand their content objectives and help them translate these thoughts into a cohesive story * Work with speakers to build their scripting and speaking points * Manage a design team to create speaker support that visually brings the content seamlessly to life through graphics, words and animation * Conceive and manage video support from opening videos to interstitials and product demos * Balance multiple presentations to ensure each message is unique yet delivered in a connected manner through tone and visuals * Fully understand the scope of environmental design for the events and how the content can best be showcased within the conference space * Oversee speaker support managers to ensure all versions of presentations are being updated and delivered on schedule * Understand budget implications to manage client expectations and alert account management of any requested change in scope
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications/Skill Requirements:** * A proven track record of 4-6 years successful, relevant, industry strategy and brand consulting experience, preferably within an agency setting * Experiential/events experience is important (particularly in lifestyle and B2B events for digitally-inclined clients) * Strong ability to breakdown complex ideas into understandable modules of content and the ability to visually translate content in its most compelling form whether through image, animation, words, video or all of the above * Experience in creating, managing and directing the video development process * Skill to develop decks and various communication vehicles with account and production teams that address client’s strategy and tactical concerns * Capacity to facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops designed toward specific outputs and client solutions * Presence and experience to interface at the executive level, developing and maintaining client relationships and negotiating change within the business and within the brand * Strong communication skills: written, verbal, presentations, meeting facilitation and email in both individual and group settings * Strong writing skills relevant to the articulation of speaker content * Ability to generate and present thought leadership on behalf of the agency * Fundamental understanding of market research and marketing to develop marketing-driven solutions for our clients * Passion and intelligence to translate work with creative studio to oversee the visual manifestation of ideas and concepts
