Summary
The Senior Designer will generate design concepts and graphics solutions for a variety of projects, including corporate identity, brand guidelines, marketing and promotional materials, interactive experiences, and motion/environmental graphics. The position requires exceptional visual talent, instinct, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a good sense of humor.
Responsibilities
You are a creative, collaborative, passionate and articulate designer with a strong aesthetic and a keen strategic mind. You are dedicated to creating relevant design solutions for a broad range of market segments and shepherding projects from concept and research through implementation on time and on budget. You’ve not only got in-depth industry knowledge, but a solid grasp of market research and commercial awareness, which you use to help shape and contextualize your design vision. A diplomatic, confident, and dynamic presenter, you excel at explaining your vision to diverse stakeholders and engaging them in that vision. You thrive in a collaborative environment, whether you are at the helm or working as a team member, and are committed to building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. A typical day for you might involve assisting the project team in building a persuasive presentation, brainstorming creative solutions to fit a new strategic brand framework, and generating design concepts for a new client. You’ll use your well-honed leadership skills to help teams define objectives, identify approach, and guide them toward creative solutions and stand-out deliverables that go above and beyond in fulfilling client expectations. Ideal Candidate
* Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field from an accredited school or equivalent knowledge and experience; 5+ years related experience in graphic design, packaging design, corporate identities, and/or visual communications in an advertising/design consulting firm; extensive knowledge of brand, typography, project management framework, and design process; experience scooping projects, strategically positioning work, and presenting to clients * Special Skills: Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; exceptional visual design skills, with an emphasis on creating graphics in Adobe Illustrator; ability to analyze and synthesize complex design challenges in order to support an informed creative process * Passion: Creatively conveying concepts and bringing brands to life * Role: Leading design efforts by utilizing conceptual skills, industry experience, and imagination to bring innovation and creative excellence to the organization’s creative and design deliverables * Personality: Creative, decisive, innovative, collaborative, solution-oriented, high-energy leader
