Responsibilities
* Will work closely with the document control aspects of the project, from project management/construction management, administration, engineering, client/owner and vendors. * Assist in creating the master project index, SharePoint site, FTP site and file indexing. * Assure the documents are processed in a manner that the project is able to receive, submit, expedite, retrieve, maintain, and retain extensive levels of legal/non-legal and non-public documents * Documents will be kept in secured locking cabinets and/or in restricted electronic folders; Assure that only authorized personnel are permitted to view and receive these documents. * Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage the flow of documentation between M3, owner/client, vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors and meet schedule/deadlines * Responsible for extensive storage and tracking for various project areas such as engineering, vendor, client, and contractor reviews * Maybe be required to train the clients/owners, employees, from preliminary stages of the project until close-out * Will provide extensive support and quality auditing of documentation throughout the project stages; drawings, specifications (M3/vendors), engineering lists, contracting and correspondence; Posting of documentation as required by the project manager/construction manager * Processing and tracking of AS-Builts from field engineering to final stages; Assist in project close-out and turn over to client. Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma or equivalent * AA in business, or relative area of study preferred or equivalent working knowledge/experience. * 3 – 5 years of experience in interpreting and understanding construction plans and designs. * General knowledge of construction techniques, building systems and design techniques. * Excellent communication skills, be organized, efficient and responsive to the needs of internal and external clients. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint/FTP/AutoCAD/Adobe ProX. * Must be detailed oriented with ability to work in a fast paced environment. * Ability to travel between Charlotte, NC and Kershaw, SC and to corporate headquarter (in Arizona) for training.
