Summary
An operator focused sales position in the foodservice division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The position supports our sales efforts with current customers and develops new business within all our focused categories in the Northern California region.
Responsibilities
* Present and sell Lyons products and services to current and potential customers. * Prepare action plans and schedules to specific targets within the assigned Territory. * Prospect, qualify, and sell new operator accounts in the assigned Territory. * Follow up on national account programs and monitor compliance. * Support our brokers and beverage partners at food shows in your assigned geographic area. * Support the selling activities of the brokers and support Lyons various account managers in effectively selling new end-users and programs. * Coordinate distributor, operator, and broker training sessions to educate customers on how to effectively market our product categories. * Prepare a variety of status reports, including tracking all sales activities to achieve objectives. * Travel within Territory on a flexible schedule.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. * One year of foodservice sales experience preferred. * Knowledge and experience in working with distributors and food service operators. * An understanding of how to effectively persuade and influence others. * Ability to communicate and interact effectively with various distributors, operators, service agents, and other employees in managing our business. * Effective communication skills with the ability to develop and execute sales presentations. * Strong analytical and decision making skills
