Summary
This is a multi-functional role dedicated to leading sales growth in Quebec. This position has direct account responsibility – primarily for Montreal based Multi-Unit Chains and major food service distributors. Business growth is one of the key measurable for this role and accounts for 50% of time (mixture of new accounts and maintenance/penetration of existing business). This role will also provide leadership to the Quebec food service sales team. The successful candidate with provide sales training, work collaboratively on sales opportunities and ensure that sales accountability is embraced by the Quebec team.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Eastern Leadership Team, reporting to the Director of Sales, the BDM – Quebec will lead all sales efforts. Direct reporting responsibilities for one ADM and 2 CDM’s with multiple responsibilities. The role will also be expected to work closely with BDM Eastern Canada Chains, BDM Eastern Canada Distribution and ADM Eastern Canada Healthcare. Essentially, everything that happens in the province of Quebec is influenced by this position. **Specific Accountabilities** * Creates and executes against operator targets, budgets and business plans. Responsible for Key Account business development and owns the Quebec AOP, including healthcare and multi-unit chains. Maintains and tracks budgets and spending according to preset plan for each account to ensure profitability. Monitors, tracks and reports on budgets and spending, ensuring regions accountability to the AOP.: 50% * Creates and executes against distributor targets, budgets and business plans. Responsible for Key Distributor business development and owns the Quebec distributor AOP. Maintains and tracks budgets and spending according to preset plan for each account to ensure profitability. Monitors, tracks and reports on budgets and spending, ensuring regions accountability to the AOP.: 25% * Provides daily support to direct reports (i.e. sales tools - financial analysis, research data, testimonials, business reviews, sales presentations, and funding approvals) to generate new business. Directs, trains, develops and supports direct reports. 25%
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 6 years industry experience with key account proven relationships & track record * Proven ability to lead people directly or within a team * Interpersonal Skills, Can-Do & Enterprise Wide Mindset * Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business * Fully bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
