Summary
High Liner Foods is proud to be the leading North American processor and marketer of value-added frozen seafood. We are seeking a National Account Manager to become the newest member of our Sales Team. The National Account Manager has direct management responsibilities for developing sales at assigned Foodservice Chain and Ingredient accounts. The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key personnel at all levels in these accounts, including procurement, culinary, R&D, marketing, operations. In addition must work collaboratively with internal team members across key cross functional departments.
Responsibilities
* Identify Profitable sales opportunities within existing customer base and target prospects. * Research account opportunities, assess customer needs and align with internal solutions * Devise/Develop creative aggressive sales strategies and approaches. * Build effective customer relationships within multiple departments with key decision makers at assigned customer base. * Develop and deliver professional, well constructed sales presentations to prospective customers. * Work with R&D/Culinary to develop proprietary products for large volume opportunities * Generate monthly sales reports detailing progress toward short and long term objectives
Ideal Candidate
* You have a proven track record of at least 7 years in Foodservice sales/National Accounts, we would prefer at least 5 years experience in protein or seafood sales. * You believe education is important, and so do we. This role will be requiring a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. * You don’t mind travelling.
