Summary
Provide effective leadership for a global food service key account, in order to penetrate, develop and grow key product categories; build a robust pipeline of qualified customer opportunities, accelerating and achieving the sales and profitability objectives of the foodservice channel.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement global key account strategy linked to overall company and markets sales objectives * Accountable for monitoring, reporting, making recommendations and taking appropriate action to ensure the success of the sales plan through clear, accurate and timely communication * Leverage solution selling strategies to establish and leverage multi-level customer relationships, accelerating sales growth in the channel * Develop and lead business development team, driving accountability and professionalism through all interactions * Lead the business with new distribution and organic growth opportunities while evaluating existing business strategies to ensure sales teams are continuing to meet the needs of assigned customers * Deliver or exceed established sales targets on time and within budget * Develop "best in class" responsiveness and agility in responding to customer needs and opportunities * Work to eliminate organizational inertia and functional silos * Identify and acquire untapped Food Service sales opportunities * Review market analyses to understand customer needs, pricing schedules, and discount rates * Effectively manage and be responsible for pricing decisions that deliver profitable revenue and growth * Review, analyze and translate sales statistics into action plans. * Review product portfolio to identify and recommend the elimination of unprofitable items to the appropriate Product Marketing Manager * Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote the company, product lines and available services * Support national account managers in the delivery of sales presentations when appropriate * Meet with customers to assist account managers maintain strong relationships as well as support the negotiation and closing of deals when appropriate * Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements * Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition * Recommend or approve specific budget expenditures and or appropriations for culinary work as it applies to line of business * Actively foster relationships with other CSM operating companies in order to explore and identify opportunities for collaboration * Enhance the sales team''s capability by coaching, performance management, development and career/succession management. * Other duties as assigned by management

* Leadership role in an environment that embraces cross functional collaboration * P & L ownership of a business unit * Leadership of an integrated business development effort * Customer relationship development in a sales role * Experience in recruiting and motivating top talent * Superior computer skills (Excel, Access/relational database, PowerPoint). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company; experience in driving engagement through professional communication * Strong leadership, technology, and analytical skills. * Extensive travel required of the United States **Required Experience** * Bachelors Degree in business, marketing or management; Masters/MBA preferred Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in a sales role with responsibility for food service national accounts. * CSM Bakery Solutions offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, LTD & STD, tuition reimbursement and 401K.
