Summary
Arc Products and partnering with the Manager Human Resources, Subsidiary Support, the Manager, Human Resources/Arc Products will serve as a hands-on leader, within a broad HR Generalist capacity, providing human resources support for Arc Products.
Responsibilities
* Serve as primary HR contact for business unit management and employees assisting with matters related to employee relations, recruiting, training and employee development, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, workers compensation and other functional areas within human resources function * Lead efforts integrating the business unit as a Lincoln Electric Company; partners with Manager Human Resources, Subsidiary Support ensuring consistency with policies and procedures as appropriate * Collaborate with leadership in support of change management initiatives along with ensuring the appropriate communication of these initiatives * Provide guidance to managers/employees, on a variety of HR matters, regarding policies, procedures, and best practices * Work collaboratively with the Corporate HR team members to promote the consistent approach of HR practices throughout the organization * Develop appropriate processes and/or procedures to reflect changing business needs, ensuring the appropriate level of support is being provided to all employees * Ensure compliance with all government requirements * Assist with other HR projects or initiatives as needed
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications; Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred; SPHR/PHR Certification preferred, not required * Seven years’ experience in HR/Generalist capacity, preferably in a global manufacturing environment; multi-location experience is highly preferred * Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred * Minimum of three years of managerial experience preferred * Plant HR experience is highly preferred * Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills * Ability to build and maintain superior relationships with internal and external clients at all levels * Ability to work effectively in teams * Excellent project management, written and oral communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word) * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible * Working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems and SAP preferred
