Cost Accountant

**Responsibilities will include:** - Monitor raw materials, finished goods and cost of goods sold (COGS) in the database - Reconcile discrepancies - Update cost sheets with updated prices as needed - Assist with month end close - Prepare journal entries - File monthly, quarterly and yearly documents with the state including sales tax, licenses, franchise tax, etc. - Assist with billing as needed - Administrative and human resources duties as needed

**Qualified candidates will have:** - 2+ years of COST accounting experience - Project cost accounting or manufacturing cost accounting experience required - Strong MS Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables required - BS degree in accounting required - Experience using accounting software required - Ability to quickly learn all products and inventory
