Cost Accountant

Responsibilities will include:

• Monitor raw materials, finished goods and cost of goods sold (COGS) in the database
• Reconcile discrepancies
• Update cost sheets with updated prices as needed
• Assist with month end close
• Prepare journal entries
• File monthly, quarterly and yearly documents with the state including sales tax, licenses, franchise tax, etc.
• Assist with billing as needed
• Administrative and human resources duties as needed

Qualified candidates will have:

• 2+ years of COST accounting experience
• Project cost accounting or manufacturing cost accounting experience required
• Strong MS Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables required
• BS degree in accounting required
• Experience using accounting software required
• Ability to quickly learn all products and inventory
