Cost Accountant

* Build formulas for all manufactured products and assist in the conversion of manual / spreadsheet processes outside of the ERP system to within the ERP system's production module. * Monitor standards for: Yielded meat cost Direct labor lbs. per man hour and cost Dry ingredient usage and cost Packaging materials usage and cost * Test formulas to monitor / establish new standards * Verify actual production data is accurately and timely posted in production module * Maintain weekly labor standards to actual payroll * Maintain weekly / monthly variance analysis for raw material (meat), dry ingredient and packaging usage * Maintain weekly / monthly reconciliation of raw material (meat), packaging material and dry ingredient usage to the physical inventories * Make recommendations and provide support to the procurement, production and sales departments * Provide management on costing issues and areas for improvement in yield, labor inefficiencies *Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure cost accounting controls are maintained

* BS in Accounting * 5+ years of experience in cost / plant accounting in a processing environment * Proficient in use of excel spreadsheets and ERP systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
