Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting Finance Leadership, Corporate Strategy and the SVP of M&A & Ventures in all financial aspects of the acquisition process and will provide strategic analysis support as a key member of the Corporate FP&A team.
Responsibilities
* M&A financial modeling and valuation: The position is responsible for developing financial models as the basis for guiding valuation and pricing decisions for potential acquisition targets. They will also be responsible for actively participating in negotiating strategy, identifying and quantifying risks and synergies and overall support for the M&A process. * Financial due diligence: They will have overall responsibility to work with finance functional areas and third party service providers to ensure a robust diligence process, communicate findings, identify and remediate risk areas, and determine any impacts to value. * Managing the financial aspects of integration efforts: Once the acquisition is complete, they will act as the lead finance representative on the integration team responsible for coordinating the efforts across the finance organization including tax, accounting, treasury and audit. * Strategic modeling and analytical projects: To drive financially sound decisions and support planning & analysis processes. * Provide valuation modeling to support the annual goodwill impairment testing process
Ideal Candidate
**Experience-Education (Required):** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline along with 7-10 years in an analyst role **Competencies-Skills (Required):** * Multi-year financial modeling and valuation skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to present clear and concise information to all levels of the organization. * Able to contribute to and influence cross-functional teams. * Highly analytical and quantitative * Well-versed in various finance-related disciplines including tax, treasury, and accounting **Experience-Education (Preferred):** * MBA, CFA, or other advanced degree or certification * Prior exposure to M&A work, including pricing, valuation, and financial diligence * Experience in applying advanced analytical methods to business problems (multi-scenario analysis, predictive modeling, etc.)
